Don't have a heart attack because I am finally writing a letter. I will not apologize, as I probably will be just as late with another one. Communication is not one of my better virtues. I mean well, I just don't get around to doing it.

I have been fairly busy this year with working, and then getting to have my little grandchildren a little more. Ross turned 8 the last of May, and Morgan turned 6 the last of July. We had parties here, and I got them the lime green bikes they wanted. It is such a joy to have them. They are so kind, and free with their hugs and kisses...not just for their daddy, and Aunt Christy, but for "grandma C" and Ellie, my 4 yr. old Maltese. They carry her around like a baby, and she "pretends" to like it!! I kept them during the daytime during summer vacation while their daddy worked. They live in Greeneville, Tn., with their mother, and are now in school...Visits will be monthly until vacation time again. We jokingly say that I would have had them first, had I known they would be so precious.

I am looking forward to the CFR cruise in Jan. Christy is going with me if all works out as planned. Her nearly 15 year old Shit Zhu is not well, and it depends on her situation as to whether Christy can leave or not. She went with me on the Grand Ole' Opry cruise. We enjoy being together, so I hope she can go again.

I lost my sister Judy in 2010, my sister Alice in 2011, and my two brothers lost their wives in Jan. of 2012. My remaining sister, Sharon, both brothers and I had a reunion in Cal. last month. I am the next to youngest in 8 children, and we are the four remaining siblings. We had a great time together, and I hope you all can do the same whenever possible...Life is short, and we never know when we will lose someone. I say "I love you" a lot......I hope you do, too...

I have worked this year with so many of my friends....Jim Ed Brown...Jeannie Seely...Gene Watson...Moe Bandy...Leroy Van Dyke and his Auctioneers...Jimmy Fortune....David Frizzell...Steve and Rudy Gatlin....Rex Allen, Jr.,...T. G. Sheppard....T. Graham Brown....Bill Anderson....Linda Davis...and of course the many wonderful friends on the Country Family Reunion and Larry's Country Diner shows. I am so blessed to do what I love to do in life. I am quite sure I have left out some, but I love all of them.

I hope to see some of you at future concerts. After 36 years in this business, I have so many friends that are nearly like family to me, and it is always wonderful seeing them and visiting after we autograph. We still autograph. and will continue to do so as long as people stand in line to see us. We are the ones fortunate.

Thank you for your love and support, and I do hope life is being good to you. You have certainly been a blessing to me.

God bless all of you...
