There's more to the Georgia National Fair than the Ferris wheel and funnel cake.

If you play it right, you can sink your teeth into some classic rock and rip-roaring country, three nights in
a row. Three different concerts are planned for the Perry fair at the Georgia National Fairgrounds &
Agricenter.

First up is the Country Gold Tour on the 13th, featuring Leroy Van Dyke and the Auctioneers with Jim
Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Bobby Bare, David Frizzell and Rex Allen, Jr. All could be considered classic
country, with some ventures into outlaw territory.

Van Dyke is best known for his hit single, "Walk On By."

Brown has had a number of hits including "Pop a Top", and he was also known for his TV ventures.

Cornelius and Brown had a number of duets together, including "I Don't Want to Have to Marry You."

Bare had a long recording career and notably performed what he describes as Bill Clinton's favorite
song, "Dropkick Me, Jesus."

David Frizzell, brother to Lefty, had a number of hits in the 1980s, including the humorously titled "I'm
Going to Hire a Wino to Decorate Our Home."

Allen Jr., son of country star Rex Allen, had several hits including "Two Less Lonely People."
